Christmas was a lot different this year because my parents went to see my sister in Germany. I realized it was the first Christmas I had spent away from my parents - weird since i'm so old..... We celebrated with my parents before Christmas, made our gingerbread houses, had Christmas dinner, and of course opened presents. Tamara and I then celebrated Christmas on our own and we had a really nice time. It was great to open our presents at home under our own tree and then we took our time to enjoy the day together.
