Summer 2011

I know I have been quite a bit behind on keeping everyone up on what we've been doing.... so this is my catch up post. We miss and love you all terribly!! Love ya -

Thanks for the hair cut mom!! :)
This would be the science fair project that scored a perfect 100% score. Way to go sweetie~!
The perfect swimming accessory for straight hair...
Seattle Temple

Easter time --- never to old to dye easter eggs!

Doesn't Tamara look so pretty in ear new easter dress??
Our Easter feast..... Yeah, way too much food as usual, but everything turned out perfect.

Alki beach

Our first Seattle Mariner's baseball game with great seats, right behind home plate.

Snoqualmie Falls

This was a first for Tamara and a first in a long time for me..... A Drive In!! This drive in is down the hill about 5 minutes from where we live. Tamara was so excited to be able to watch it while laying out in the car and eating dinner. It was fun, but now she always wants to watch the movie at the drive in.. lol ;)
Another fun weekend at Mammaw and Pappaw's house with the family!
Isn't Brooklyn so cute in this picture.

Back in Moscow for the 4th of July!!!!!

We thought it was finally time to go visit Mt. Rainier. It took about 1.5 hours and it was a really pretty drive.

I went to this part of Mt. Rainier, Paradise Ridge, because it is well known for amazing fields of wildflowers and reflection lakes..... however, as you could tell, the snow was still everywhere even in July. They might not have any flowers here this year!

Basketball Time

Tamara has started playing basketball at church in the Young Women's program. She plays with girls ages 12 - 17 against different wards in the stake. Most of the girls are older and taller, so Tamara is learning to be the shorter one instead of the taller one as she normally is. She is learning to play again and she does a really good job, especially on defense. She is so good at stealing the ball!! She had a game last week (they were short players and had to play 4 against 5)

Funny action shot.... lol

We went to a basketball court this weekend to get some extra practise in and so Tamara's dad could teach her some skills
