New Years 2010

Tamara and I spent New Years in Seattle with an all night Girl's Party.

Yeah... We were pretty tired...

Tamara was so excited to shoot off her confetti gun that she got from Livia.
She just wasn't quite ready for all the power it had when it exploded :)
We had a fun 2010 and along with it a lot of changes!! It is so different living in Seattle. Its hard to believe that we have been here for 6 months already. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Christmas 2010

This year for Christmas we headed to mom and dad's house. We started out with some fun exercise in the gym....

Then we were ready for the annual gingerbread house making party. Don't they look cute?? (the girls and the houses!!)

Annual Christmas Eve gift that we open from great mammaw: PJ'S!

Way too excited too sleep.

Now doesn't this bring back all kinds of memories.....
Yay! We all got everything we were hoping for!!
Just not quite in all the right sizes... lol
Of course Tamara had to spend a lot of time with the cat, Shadow. She is an animal lover and all pets seem to inherently love her too

I finally broke down and surprised Tamara for Christmas with her very own kitty. Meet Sarafina. She was a kitty we rescued at the Animal Shelter. They are completely inseperable now :)

Big Curls

I decided to see how Tamara's hair would work with big curls using the flat iron. I had already straightened her hair a few days earlier and we were both happy to see how well it curled. She ended up looking completely different. She looked so much older than when I took her to dinner, the waitress asked if she needed to split the bill.... lol. She was shocked when I told her that I think I could pay for my daughter that time :) Good for me, bad for Tamara.

Darn Wishbone

Tamara was so excited to make a wish on the wishbone this year:
Okay, we must have waited too long for it to dry out......

Getting Ready for Christmas

We went to the tree lighting/parade here for Christmas this year. We spotted Santa Claus and his wife right when we got there!

We were so excited to see the big tree for the ceremony and marched towards it following the parade......... needless to say it was very bright with lights, but wow was it a lot smaller than we were expecting! lol

Isn't Tamara so cute burning our count down candles? We might live in a little place now, but we still had fun decorating every inch of it for Christmas.

We also went to the "Zoolights" at the zoo here. It was really fun and a great idea. There were 750,000 christmas lights up all around to look at.

This one was funny..... You could see the bear moving in lights toward the hunny.

Cotton Candy, Of course!

This tree was our favorite. It was really bright.
